Single again in 2009...

Yeah, hope everybody got what they wanted and will reach their goals for the next year.

This year, definitely, wasn't one of the best years for me... but I made it through.  Next year better make up for it.

Let's just go down the list:

- Quit World of Warcraft pretty fast.
- Completed Fable II's main storyline and the majority of sidequests.
- Ended up getting Gears of War 2 and completing it anyway...
- Stopped working on my PSO server software.
- Still missing my dad.  (I love you, man, and I'll never forget you... can't wait to see you again someday...)
- Returned Sony FW laptop.
- Cousin visited for a week and a half.
- Ordered a new laptop (Asus G50VT-X2)
- Got back into FlyFF thanks to my cousin.  Made a new character and am currently a level 57 Acrobat going Bow Jester at level 60...
- Thanksgiving came and went.
- Looking at selling the Asus now because of a keyboard issue and it's actually bigger than I thought it'd be.  (Looking at getting a Sony SR now... I don't even want a gaming laptop anymore...)

Well, most of my time lately had been spent developing PSO server software... you can see my website plus check out the software @ http://www.pioneer2.net/

Besides all that, I haven't been up to very much...  You know, the usual, work, the occasional game and so on.

Today Fable II for the XBox 360 comes out, so I'm going to try to cop that on the way home from work...  (Castlevania: Order of the Ecclesia also comes out for the Nintendo DS today, but that's about to get downloaded with the quickness...)

I've also ordered a new laptop which I'm waiting to arrive...  It's a Sony Vaio FW2 machine with an HD3650.  You can see a similar configuration of the system I bought @ NewEgg   Though mine has as smaller HD and came to about $1187 total.

DarkFact convinced me to come back and play WoW again so I've been messing with that as well.  My boy, Frost, has been leveling up with me and when we get up to 70 (in preparation for the expansion)  we'll transfer to DarkFact's server and get shit crackin' even harder.

I'm not really looking forward to too many games lately, but there are a few on my radar I'm awaiting release:

.. I might have missed some, mostly on the Nintendo DS, but that's because I usually just grab every single DS game as it comes out via Usenet ;)   *hugs his Edge DS card...*

Yes, I know Gears of War 2 is coming out next month.  I'm really undecided as to whether or not I'll get it.  I didn't do much playing of the original outside of completing the single player campaign.  Multiplayer on those types of games gets so boring and so fast...

If I missed any interesting XBox 360 games coming out, I'll have to update this post.

It should be known, though, if any of you guys have an XBox 360 and DIDN'T buy Tales of Vesperia, kill yourselves now or go to the store and buy it right this second.  It's a fucking awesome game and everybody should have it in their game collection.

So what's up for this Halloween?  Don't know... we'll see.

Oh yeah, spoiled myself again with a new TV. :x  Check it.

My father, Terry Chatman Sr., was killed on 05/27/2008 by Richard Schultz of Stockton, Ca.

Richard is the owner of an apartment complex which neighbors a fixer upper house my dad purchased in Stockton.

A senseless death, but I will never forget the man of my life... who taught me so much...

I wish I could have just one more day with him... or just to hear his voice once more.
